Account Deny list for Roles

We would like to have our Engineers be able to access all clients except our ILU.  Right now you can add what accounts a role can access but not a deny list of clients.  It would be much more scalable if I could say “all accounts except X” in a role.

+1 Agree with this for scalability.

Awesome idea!
Another option (for Nerdio) would be able to group clients (similar to an Azure AD Dynamic Group) so we could Dynamically group clients together.
We split our service desk-up by "Market" so all of the Industries (i.e. Law Firms, Designers, Construction, etc) are supported by the same team and are able to resolve issues faster.
If we could do something similar with AVD environments, it would be very helpful.

Examples:

  • All 3D AVD Environments (Graphic Design and Architecture companies)
  • All Non-IUR Companies
  • All Team 2 customers

2 years later and I came looking for this. I just added our account and assigned IUL today, then I had to go through and change other tech's access from all to add all the individual accounts but the IUL account because there's a lot they shouldn't have access to there.

Dave Stephenson have you seen any news on this for an ‘exclude IUL’ access button in Nerdio's RBAC? I think it's still a great idea.

“Pushing” for this one. Would be very useful to have an “Account deny list”.

I haven't seen any extra traction on this idea, Frank Albani, but it seems like it's still popular (gaining more votes) so let me reach-out to our Product team to see if we can get a more firm place on the roadmap for this idea. 🙂

I cannot up vote this enough. Each time I add a new account I need to also go through and add it to each role or user.

It would be a lot simpler to use exclude these accounts from this role or user.
