NMM reports VM "Needs assistance"

Getting a message reported under the status section of a VM that it “needs assistance”. Not sure what it means, anyone else seen this before? First step was rebooting it, but the message is still there. It's part of a host pool and the other one is fine. I'm also auto-scaling and no issues thus far, and both are showing green and healthy. Any idea

if it was the geneva (monitoring) agent as research suggested, seems the reboot did the trick - just a matter of waiting for NMM to update and refresh. Fixed again

When I have seen “Needs assistance”, most of the time a reboot clears. I have had to re-image some hosts where this would not go away though.
