We were troubleshooting why the new FSLogix container size report was showing 0 data. Long story short, we discovered that the report relies on FSLogix disk compaction event log entries. The issue turned out to be that the session host VMs were running a very outdated version of FSLogix (from 2022), which doesn’t support the compaction feature.
Although the host pool properties were configured to install the latest FSLogix version, it appears this step is being bypassed during the nightly re-imaging process because FSLogix is already present on the image VM.
Currently, the "Uninstall FSLogix app" option in Nerdio only appears when creating a brand-new desktop image. We would like to request that this option also be made available in the “Power off and set as image” workflow. This would ensure FSLogix is removed from the image VM during routine updates, allowing session host VMs to always receive the latest version during deployment.
