Global Backup Policies

I keep creating the same Azure VM backup policies for each AVD client. It would be nice to make these policies at the MSP level and make them available to AVD customer tenants in NMM, similar to Global Schedules. It would also be helpful to keep those backup policies in sync. This way, we can make a change without touching each downstream tenant and prevent drift. By backup policy, I am referring to the frequency and retention options already available at the individual client level.

More global policies like this make a lot of sense.
I can see it working like our Global FSLogix Profiles where you're able to choose the features/settings that you put in the Backup Policy vs override at the account level.

Out of curiosity, when you mention "prevent drift", are you thinking of having it like the "Global RDP Properties" where you check the "Sync RDP Settings with Global Properties" box or more like the Baseline "Drift" feature where you're able to visually see the drift and choose whether to accept it or not?

My initial thought about preventing drift was to ensure that all downstream clients using that policy are the same, so we do not need to look at specific clients when speaking about their backup policy. I like the idea of having a page to view drift, as that would allow you to make local changes, accept the drift, and have a quick report when needing the info. We try our hardest to standardize everything across the board, so having more control at the MSP level is always a win for us.
