Create scripted actions for Intune endpoints on the MSP level

I would love to see the option to create scripted actions on the MSP level. The only way to do this now is to clone the scripted action at the customer level.

Welcome to the community, Bernhard Vreugdenhil 🙂!

As far as I've seen, you can create scripted actions at the MSP level and assign them to all or specific accounts.
Do you have the same feature in your environment?

Personally, I always like to create all of my scripts at the MSP level so I can easily deploy it to other accounts.
Additionally, if I ever need to re-add the account I don't have to manually recreate all of their scripts. 🤓

Hi Dave,

Hi i meant for Intune endpoints. Yet it is not possible to check "Enable for Intune managed endpoints" at the MSP level, But is supported at the customer level:

Ahh. Sorry I missed that detail the first time.
Thanks for clarifying. 🙂

I was actually able to assign the MSP scripted action to the account and then I could choose to toggle the "Intune" option when I run the script at the account level.
I'm guessing it's by design to have that Intune toggle at the account level because you may have some customers/accounts that are not utilizing Intune for whatever reason.

By assigning the scripted action (instead of cloning it), the accounts automatically get the latest script edition without you needed to go to each individual account to adjust it.

Do you have a use case where you want to globally set the Intune toggle for all of your customers/accounts?
Or are you thinking you'll have your set of Intune enabled scripted actions and non-Intune enabled scripted actions?

When i assign the scripted action i can see the "intune" toggle but i am unable to switch it to on. Is there a reason why this isn't working?

That's very odd. The same thing is happening for me.
If I clone the scripted action, I can toggle Intune, but not if it's only assigned.

Nerdio Product Support maybe someone from your team can provide some insight on how the feature works or is designed to work?
I checked the release notes and the KB, but couldn't find any documentation on the feature.

Hi there, running into the same issue.
Essentially I can only create a script for intune devices on each individual account. So no syncing is possible because these scripts aren't at the msp level.
in attempting to create and assign a script at the msp level, I don't get an option to enable for intune endpoints at the MSP level, nor the account level when I press "view". It also seems like I don't have a way to assign the script.

I agree with above. It would be super helpful to have the ability to assign scripts to Intune endpoints at the MSP level. The toggle does not work when assigning a script from the MSP, only when creating a script at the account level. Having to create scripts for each individual account to toggle on for Intune options is cumbersome. Please put this on your roadmap!
