Currently, when a new host is created a system identity is briefly enabled to help create the vm. Could we get a toggle to enable the identity and keep it enabled? This would allow me to mount azure files share without the need for any secrets. Or better yet, if there was an option to auto mount on user logon an azure file share of our choosing that would completely eliminate the need for a logon script to mount azure files shares.

Good idea to have it native in the tool. In the meantime you should be able to work around this by using a runbook to assign the identity to the virtual machine(s). This way the system identity will be kept enabled.
