Custom image rebuild frequency
In a session at Nerdiocon 2023, I heard a recommendation to rebuild custom images from latest Azure marketplace images periodically to make sure components are up to date. My question is what should periodically mean for this task, how often should I be doing this?

That would be pretty intense to be rebuilding images across our many clients , each with their own desktop image(s)
I was able to ask for clarification here at Nerdiocon and found that the components I was worried about, like the AVD agent, when a VM is created by Nerdio, the latest good version of those components are installed. So, VM create and re-image should take care of it without having to put in the work of image build.
We typically update them on a monthly cycle for patches, unless customer applications dictate the need for more frequent updates. A good example is tax return software for CPA firms during tax season.
