User Flows help administrators streamline, simplify, and automate user lifecycle management within managed environments. By creating a user flow template, you can define a schedule of actions to perform on a user's account before, on, and after a defined lifecycle event (for example, an employee's leaving date). Nerdio Manager can push these templates to multiple customer accounts, ensuring a consistent approach across multiple managed environments. The User Flows feature supports user offboarding at launch, with support for more user lifecycle events planned for future releases.
User Flows are especially valuable for Tier 2 and Tier 3 MSPs, as they ensure user lifecycle management is executed consistently and reliably, reducing the risk of human error and improving operational efficiency.
With the offboarding user flow, MSP administrators can create a template that defines the offboarding process. Each template supports a variety of actions (such as disabling a user account or converting a mailbox to a shared inbox) that can be scheduled to occur before, on, and after the date on which the user leaves the organization. Administrators can also specify the exact date and time when each action should take place. Once triggered, the offboarding process runs automatically as a chained sequence of actions.
This feature is primarily intended for administrators and engineers managing the environment.
