Tenant Assessment Wizard Overview
The Tenant Assessment Wizard helps MSP administrators evaluate the policy landscape of a customer account or prospect tenant before deploying Policy Baselines and Solution Baselines. By running an assessment first, administrators can identify potential conflicts, gaps, and overlapping policies — reducing the risk of disruption when applying Nerdio-managed baselines to an existing environment.
The wizard is particularly valuable when onboarding a new customer with an established Microsoft 365 configuration, or when preparing to roll out a new baseline to an existing managed account. Rather than discovering conflicts after deployment, the Tenant Assessment Wizard surfaces them upfront so they can be addressed in advance.

Use cases
The Tenant Assessment Wizard supports two primary scenarios:
- Customer account assessment — Evaluate an existing managed customer account to understand its current policy configuration before applying or updating Policy Baselines and Solution Baselines.
- Prospect tenant assessment — Assess a prospect tenant (not yet a managed customer) to understand its environment prior to onboarding. This allows you to identify any remediation work required before deploying Nerdio-managed baselines.
