How can I deploy Axcient x360Recover agent in Nerdio Manager?
Deploy Axcient x360Recover agent on AVD session hosts and Azure servers to enable direct-to-cloud backup and disaster recovery of your virtual environments. The agent continuously backs up the VM data and your environment state to Axcient’s secure cloud, allowing for fast recovery in case of data loss, corruption, or VM failure.
Deploying the agent in Nerdio Manager ensures consistent protection across host pools and simplifies management by using automation and centralized deployment logic.
To deploy Axcient x360Recover agent, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Add an inherited variable
Note: Ensure you have edit permissions for the Integrations section in Nerdio Manager, at the MSP level.
In Nerdio Manager, at the MSPÂ level, navigate to Settings > Integrations.

Create a variable:
Classic UI: In the Variables tile, select Add variable.

New UI: On the Integrations tab, in the Variables section, select Add Inherited Variable.

In the Add inherited variable dialog box, enter the following information:

Name: Enter x360RecoverTokenID.
Note: Ensure you enter this specific name. Otherwise, the script won't run properly.

Value: Provide the default value for x360RecoverTokenID.
Note: This value will be overridden at the customer account level in the next step.

Variable type: Select Inherited.
If you are using the new UI, this option is auto-selected.
Windows scripts: From the drop-down list, search for and select the Install Axcient x360 Recover (Individual) script.

Azure runbooks: Clear the All Scripts option.

Select OK.
Step 2: Assign the script to accounts
Once you created the variable and assigned it to the Install Axcient x360 Recover script, you can now assign that script to customer accounts where you wish to deploy the Axcient x360 Recover agent.
To assign the script to accounts:
At the MSP level, navigate to Scripted actions > Windows scripts.

Search for the Install Axcient x360 Recover (Individual) script, and then from the action menu next to it, select Assign accounts.

In the new dialog box, from the drop-down list, select the needed account(s).
Tip: Select All if you want to assign this script to all current and future accounts.
Select OK.
Step 3: Override the x360RecoverTokenID variable value at the account level
Follow the steps below to override the x360RecoverTokenID variable value at the account level.
To override the variable value:
At the MSP level, navigate to Accounts.
Select the account where you wish to override the x360RecoverTokenID variable value.
Go to Settings > Integrations.
In the Variables tile, next to the needed variable value, select override.

In the Override inherited value dialog box, in the Value field, enter the new value.
Select OK.
Step 4: Configure running the script on the host pool
After assigning the Install Axcient x360 Recover script to accounts, you can define how the script should run on the host pools.
To configure running the script on host pools:
At the MSP level, navigate to Accounts.
Select the account where you wish to deploy the Axcient x360 Recover agent.
Go to AVD > Host pools.

From the action menu next to the needed host pool, select Properties.

In the properties dialog box, on the VM Deployment tab, do the following:
In the Scripted actions section, set the Run scripted actions when host VM is CREATED option to On.
In the Windows script field, search for and select the Install Axcient x360 Recover (Individual) script.
Select Save & close.
