Troubleshoot common UAM deployment issues
Unified Application Management (UAM) in Nerdio Manager allows you to automate updates to applications from a centralized repository. For details, see Unified application management: Manage applications.
Occasionally, errors may occur during the application deployment or update.
For common UAM errors and methods to troubleshoot other issues, see the sections below.
Common UAM errors

Review the Deployment Status logs in Nerdio Manager to determine whether the issue is related to the download or the installation process. |

Nerdio Manager is not able to create a local admin account on the device. |
Check your Intune or GPO policies to ensure that the UIA elevation prompt without secure desktop and Admin Approval Mode for Built-in Administrator settings are disabled. For details, see User Account Control settings and configuration. |
Invoke-AppManagement: The term 'Write-ExtendedLog' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again. |
An ASR policy may be preventing the UAM policy from executing. |

A setting in an Intune configuration policy or security baseline, such as the CIS benchmarks, may be preventing the UAM deployment process from running. |
To resolve this issue, identify the configuration policy or security baseline that is preventing the UAM deployment process from running. In the CIS benchmarks, the setting associated with this failure is Deny Access from Network. However, the settings may be named differently in other configuration policies or security baselines. To resolve the issue for CIS benchmarks deployed via Nerdio Manager:

Troubleshoot UAM issues
Reviewing logs is one of the most effective tools for troubleshooting deployment problems.
You can find logs on the device itself at C:\Windows\Temp\NMMLogs, or on the Applications > Deployment status page. To view the logs, select one of the following:
