[Deprecated] Create Blob Storage for FSLogix Profiles

This article discusses how to create blob storage for FSLogix profiles.

To create blob storage for FSLogix profiles:

  1. In Azure portal, search for Storage.

  2. Select Storage accounts.

  3. Select + Create to create a new storage account.

  4. In the Basics area, enter the following information:

    • Storage account name: Type the new storage account name.

    • Region: From the drop-down list, select the region.

    • Performance: Depending on your needs, select one of the following disk options:

      • Standard: Cost-efficient, might be sufficient only in very small environments or for testing scenarios.

      • Premium: Provide higher performance and are suitable for scenarios that require low latency.

    • Redundancy: From the drop-down list, select Locally-redundant storage (LRS).

  5. Navigate to the Advanced area.

    Nerdio Manager functionality supports the default settings shown in the Advanced area, but partners should modify the settings based on their own needs. Contact Microsoft for any support or deployment questions.

  6. Navigate to the Networking area.image545.png

  7. Navigate to the Data protection area.

  8. Navigate to the Encryption area.

  9. Navigate to the Tags area.

  10. Navigate to the Review area.

  11. Review your selections and then select Create.
