Overview of User Interface
Nerdio Manager provides a feature-rich and customizable user interface for managing both MSP-level and customer-level configuration. The exact menu items and options you see in the UI will depend on the level of configuration objects you're working with:
When you first log in to Nerdio Manager, you'll be at the MSP level. Here you'll manage global settings including accounts, servers, session hosts, RBAC, templates, logs, and reports.
To access configuration at the Account level for a particular customer account, navigate to Accounts, then select the Manage button (Classic UI) or Manage
icon (New UI) in the row for the account you want to manage.
Note: Procedures throughout the Nerdio Manager Knowledge Base indicate at the outset whether you need to begin at the MSP level or Account level.
UI navigation elements include the following:
Nerdio Manager displays all date and time information in your local time zone as indicated by your browser. Please check your browser settings or your personal device settings if the time zone in Nerdio Manager seems incorrect.
At the customer level, you can switch between accounts at any time using the dropdown.
Select the Menu icon to expand and collapse the main menu.
Select the Help icon to display the Nerdio Manager help center.
Select the AssistPro icon to start the chat bot assistant. SeeOverview of AssistPro for details.
You can select anywhere on the breadcrumbs to return to an earlier page in your navigation flow. For example:
Many tables have footers that allow you to quickly navigate through the table and set the page size. In addition, some tables show the total number of rows in the table.
The Tasks section displays a log of the tasks related to the page in reverse chronological order. For example, the Host Pools page displays the log of the tasks performed on the host pools.
Select the download button to download the tasks table in JSON format.
Several pages have an Action Menu on each row in the table. For example, the Host Pools page, select the down arrow to view the Action Menu.
At the top of every page, the Global Search Bar allows you to search for resources, objects, and settings, and to quickly navigate to your desired location. See Overview of Global Search Bar for details.
Many pages have search and filter features that allow you to quickly find the information you are looking for. For example, the Windows Scripts page can be searched and filtered as follows:
Select the Refresh icon to refresh the table that is displayed.
Select the Tool Tip icon to see a pop-up window with valuable information about the field the tool tip is associated with.
In a table column header, select the Sort icon to sort the table in ascending or descending order by that column.
Nerdio Manager allows administrators to create global views that best represents their workflows. Multiple views can be created and one of the views can be designated as the default view.
For example, if you manage host pools, session hosts, and user sessions, there is no need to keep jumping back and forth between pages to manage these different resources. With global views, you can combine all the resource on a single page. You can then restrict the global views to specific (or all) accounts and assign to user roles for others to use them.
See Overview of global views for details.
