Windows License Activation

Nerdio Manager does not have any special integrations with Activation or KMS. AVD desktops need to be activated by Microsoft’s KMS server (kms.core.windows.net) within Azure.

The workstations activate automatically without any extra configuration if they can successfully reach the correct KMS server. If you are having trouble with Windows activation, here are some things to review:

• Check if the AVD desktops are pulling a different KMS server from the customer’s Active Directory.

• Ensure that the Azure KMS URL can be resolved successfully on the AVD desktop.
