Register an Azure resource provider

When you Add an Account in Nerdio Manager, the following Azure resource providers must be registered:

  • Microsoft.KeyVault

  • Microsoft.Compute

  • Microsoft.Automation

  • Microsoft.Storage

  • Microsoft.Insights

  • Microsoft.OperationalInsights

  • Microsoft.DesktopVirtualization

  • Microsoft.Network

  • Microsoft.AAD (For Entra ID)

  • Microsoft.RecoveryServices (Azure Backup)

To register an Azure resource provider:

  1. In the Azure portal, search for Subscriptions.

  2. Select the subscription you want to work with.

  3. Under Settings, select Resource providers.

  4. Select the resource provider you want to register, and select Register.
