Overview of global views

Nerdio Manager allows you to create global views that best represent your workflows. For example, if you manage host pools, session hosts, and user sessions, there is no need to keep jumping back and forth between pages to manage these different resources. With global views, you can combine all the resources onto a single page. You can then restrict the global views to specific (or all) accounts and assign to user roles for others to use them.

Note: In a global view, select the name of the object to view it in Nerdio Manager, or select the icon to view the object in the Azure or Intune portal.

Preloaded global views

Starting with v5.0, Nerdio Manager provides several preloaded global views.

  • If you already have existing global views, the preloaded global views are loaded and set as disabled. You may enable any or all of the preloaded global views, as desired.

  • If you do not have any existing global views, the preloaded global views are loaded and set as enabled.

Add a new global view

Nerdio Manager allows you to add a new global view.

Companion Video

There are two parts to adding a global view. The first part is to configure the name of the global view and who can see information relating to which accounts.

The second part is to configure the resource type information so that the relevant information is displayed in the global view.

To add a new global view:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the following information:

    • Name: Type the global view's name.

    • Description: Type the description of the global view.

    • Visible To: From the drop-down list, select who should be able to see this global view.

      Note: You can make this global view visible to any of the following:

      • Only you.

      • Everyone.

      • Users assigned to built-in roles.

      • Users assigned to custom roles.

    • Accounts: From the drop-down list, select which accounts are shown this global view.

    • Include MSP Resources: Select to enable. When enabled, the MSP resources are displayed on the global view page.

    • Exclude Tasks: Select to enable. When enabled the tasks section is displayed on the global view page.

Once you have entered all the desired information, in the next section of the configuration dialog box, you select the resource for the global view and how you want to configure how the information is displayed relating to that resource. You can configure global views for the following:

Configure a global view for AVD: session hosts

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the AVD session hosts global view page.

To configure a global view for AVD session hosts:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Session host.

  5. Enter the following information:

    • Workspace Scope: From the drop-down list, select the workspaces to include in the global view. The default is All Workspaces.

    • Host Pool Scope: From the drop-down list, select the host pools to be included in the global view within the selected workspaces. The default is All Host Pools.

    • Search: Optionally, type the session host names to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Drain mode: Optionally, select the drain mode filters.

    • Errors: Optionally, select error filters.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by Name, Status, Provisioned, or Account and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Note: Select +add resource type to add additional resource types to the view.

Configure a global view for AVD: user sessions

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the AVD user session global view page.

To configure a global view for AVD session hosts:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select User session.

  5. Enter the following information:

    • Workspace Scope: From the drop-down list, select the workspaces to include in the global view. The default is All Workspaces.

    • Host Pool Scope: From the drop-down list, select the host pools to be included in the global view within the selected workspaces. The default is All Host Pools.

    • Search by username: Optionally, type the user names to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view

    • Search by host name: Optionally, type the session host names to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Filter by session status: Select the desired user session statuses to include in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by Username, Host pool, Host, Session status, Account, Event time, or RTT, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Note: Select +add resource type to add additional resource types to the view.

Configure a global view for AVD: host pools

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the AVD host pool global view page.

To configure a global view for AVD host pools:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Host pool.

  5. Enter the following information:

    • Workspace Scope: From the drop-down list, select the workspaces to include in the global view. The default is All Workspaces.

    • Host Pool Scope: From the drop-down list, select the host pools to be included in the global view within the selected workspaces.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by Name, Account, or Imageand then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Note: Select +add resource type to add additional resource types to the view.

Configure a global view for Modern Work apps

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work apps global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work apps:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: App.

  5. Enter the following information:

    • Search by Name: Optionally, type the app names to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • App Type: From the drop-down list, select the app type(s) to include in the global view. The default is All app types.

    • Managed: Select Yes to show managed apps, No to show unmanaged apps, or select both.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by Name, Managed, Type, or Account and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work certificates for MSIX apps

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work certificates for MSIX apps global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work certificates certificates for MSIX apps:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: Certificate for MSIX apps.

  5. Enter the following information:

    • Search by Name: Optionally, type the certificate names to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by Name, Description, Last modified, or Account and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work devices

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work devices global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work devices:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: Certificate for MSIX apps.

  5. Enter the following information:

    • Search by device name, user name, account: Optionally, enter the device name, user name, or account to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Device actions: Select this option to show the devices actions in the MEM portal.

    • Compliances: Select the complianced to be displayed in this global view. The default is All compliances.

    • Platforms: Select the platforms to be displayed in this global view. The default is All platforms.

    • Show by Device Type (Model): Select the desired device types to include in the global view.

    • Risk Level: Select the risk score to be displayed in this global view.

    • Exposure Level: Select the exposure level to be displayed in this global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work configuration profiles

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work configuration profiles global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work configuration profiles:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: configuration profiles.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by name, account: Optionally, enter the device name, user name, or account to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Tags: From the drop-down list, select the tags to include in the global view. The default is All Tags.

    • Managed: Select whether or not you want to display managed profiles in the global view.

    • CIS: Select whether or not you want to display CIS profiles in the global view.

    • Assigned: Select whether or not you want to display assigned or unassigned profiles in the global view.

    • Status: Select whether or not you want to show the status of the profiles in the global view.

    • Platform: select the platform filters.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work compliance policies

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work compliance policies global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work compliance policies:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: Compliance policy.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by name, account: Optionally, enter the device name, user name, or account to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Tags: From the drop-down list, select the tags to include in the global view. The default is All Tags.

    • Managed: Select whether or not you want to display managed profiles in the global view.

    • Status: Select whether or not you want to show the status of the profiles in the global view.

    • Assigned: Select whether or not you want to display assigned or unassigned profiles in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work security policies

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work security policies global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work security policies:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: Security policy.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by name, account: Optionally, enter the device name, user name, or account to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Tags: From the drop-down list, select the tags to include in the global view. The default is All Tags.

    • Managed: Select whether or not you want to display managed profiles in the global view.

    • Status: Select whether or not you want to show the status of the profiles in the global view.

    • Assigned: Select whether or not you want to display assigned or unassigned profiles in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work conditional access policies

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work conditional access policies global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work conditional access policies:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: Conditional access policy.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by name, account: Optionally, enter the device name, user name, or account to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Tags: From the drop-down list, select the tags to include in the global view. The default is All Tags.

    • Managed: Select whether or not you want to display managed profiles in the global view.

    • Status: Select whether or not you want to show the status of the profiles in the global view.

    • Assigned: Select whether or not you want to display assigned or unassigned profiles in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work MAM policies

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work MAM policies global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work MAM policies:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: MAM policy.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by name, account: Optionally, enter the device name, user name, or account to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Tags: From the drop-down list, select the tags to include in the global view. The default is All Tags.

    • Managed: Select whether or not you want to display managed profiles in the global view.

    • Assigned: Select whether or not you want to display assigned or unassigned profiles in the global view.

    • Status: Select whether or not you want to display the status of the profile in the global view.

    • Type: Select the type policy to display in the global view

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work update rings policies

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work update rings policies global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work update rings policies:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: Update rings policy .

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by name, account: Optionally, enter the device name, user name, or account to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Tags: From the drop-down list, select the tags to include in the global view. The default is All Tags.

    • Managed: Select whether or not you want to display managed profiles in the global view.

    • Status: Select whether or not you want to display the status of the profile in the global view.

    • Assigned: Select whether or not you want to display assigned or unassigned profiles in the global view.

    • Policy type: Select the type policy to display in the global view

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work quality Windows updates

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work quality Windows updates global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work quality Windows updates:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: Quality Windows updates .

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Alert: Optionally, select the alert to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Status: Select the status.

    • OS Version: Optionally, select the OS version.

    • Target Build: Optionally, select the target build.

    • Device name: Optionally, select the device name.

    • OS Build: Optionally, select the OS build.

  6. Select how to display the information:

    • Display: In each of the three sections, from the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by: From the drop-down, select how you want the results sorted for alerts, device statuses, and update statuses sections

    • Direction: From the drop-down, select whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  7. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work feature Windows updates

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work feature Windows updates global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work feature Windows updates:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: Quality Feature Windows updates .

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Alert: Optionally, select the alert to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Status: Select the status.

    • OS Version: Optionally, select the OS version.

    • Target Build: Optionally, select the target build.

    • Device name: Optionally, select the device name.

    • OS Build: Optionally, select the OS build.

  6. Select how to display the information:

    • Display: In each of the three sections, from the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by: From the drop-down, select how you want the results sorted for alerts, device statuses, and update statuses sections

    • Direction: From the drop-down, select whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  7. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work Autopilot profiles

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work Autopilot policies global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work Autopilot profiles:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: Autopilot profile.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by name, account: Optionally, enter the device name, user name, or account to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Tags: From the drop-down list, select the tags to include in the global view. The default is All Tags.

    • Managed: Select whether or not you want to display managed profiles in the global view.

    • Status: Select whether or not you want to display the status of the profile in the global view.

    • Assigned: Select whether or not you want to display assigned or unassigned profiles in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Modern Work enrollment status page

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Modern Work enrollment status page global view page.

To configure a global view for Modern Work enrollment status page:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Modern Work: Enrollment status page.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by name, account: Optionally, enter the device name, user name, or account to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Tags: From the drop-down list, select the tags to include in the global view. The default is All Tags.

    • Managed: Select whether or not you want to display managed profiles in the global view.

    • Status: Select whether or not you want to display the status of the profile in the global view.

    • Assigned: Select whether or not you want to display assigned or unassigned profiles in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for Console Connect devices

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the Console Connect devices global view page.

To configure a global view for Console Connect devices:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Console Connect: Console Connect devices.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search...: Optionally, enter the account name, device name, or user name to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Device type: From the drop-down list, select the device type. The default is All types.

    • Managed: Select whether or not you want to display managed profiles in the global view.

    • Status: Select whether or not you want to display the status of the profile in the global view. The default is All statuses.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for secure score management

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the secure score management secure scores global view page.

To configure a global view for secure score management secure scores:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Secure score management: Secure score.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

    • Search by Name: Optionally, type the names to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Search by Resource Group: Optionally, type the resource groups to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Filter by status: Select the desired statuses to include in the global view.

    • Filter by resource: Select the desired resources to include in the global view.

Configure a global view for backups

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the backups global view page.

To configure a global view for backups:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Common: Backups.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by Name: Optionally, type the names to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Search by Resource Group: Optionally, type the resource groups to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Filter by status: Select the desired statuses to include in the global view.

    • Filter by resource: Select the desired resources to include in the global view.

    • Filter by validationn: Select the validation status to include in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for servers

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the servers global view page.

To configure a global view for servers:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Common: Servers.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by Name: Optionally, type the names or IP address to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Search by Resource Group: Optionally, type the resource groups to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Filter by power status: Select the desired power status to include in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for desktop images

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the desktop images global view page.

To configure a global view for desktop images:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Common: Desktop images.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search by Name: Optionally, type the name, description, or OS type to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for NFA desktop images

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the NFA desktop images global view page.

To configure a global view for NFA desktop images:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Common: NFA desktop images.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

      Search by Name: Optionally, type the name, description, or OS type to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for scheduled actions

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the scheduled actions global view page.

To configure a global view for scheduled actions:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Common: Scheduled actions.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Device type: Select the device types to be displayed in the global view.

    • Schedule date: Select the schedule date. The default is Any.

    • Job type: Select the job type to include in the global view. The default is All Tasks.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Configure a global view for users

Nerdio Manager allows you to customize the information that is displayed on the users global view page.

To configure a global view for users:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add global view.

  3. Enter the information as described in the Add a new global view section.

  4. From the Resource type drop down, select Common: Users.

  5. Enter the following (optional) information:

    • Search...: Optionally, enter the name to limit the results of the items displayed in the global view.

    • User type: From the drop-down list, select the type of user to be displayed in the global view. The default is All types.

    • Identity type: From the drop-down list, select the identity type of user to be displayed in the global view. The default is All identity types..

    • Entra ID:From the drop-down list, select the Entra ID role to be displayed in the global view. The default is All Entra ID roles.

    • Risk state: From the drop-down list, select the risk state to be displayed in the global view. The default is All risk states.

    • Date: Select the last sign-in date range to be displayed in the global view.

    • Display: From the drop-down list, select the number of items to display per page.

    • Sort contents by and Direction: From the drop-down lists, select whether you want to sort by, and then from the direction drop-down list whether you want to sort by Ascending or Descending order.

  6. Select OK to save the new global view configuration.

Create a group of global views

Nerdio Manager allows you to create a group of global views.

To create a group of global views:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select Add group.

  3. Enter the following information:

    • Name: Type the group's name.

    • Icon: Select the icon from the list.

  4. Once you have entered all the desired information, select OK.

    The new group is created.

  5. For each global view you wish to add to the group, select and hold the global view's , then drag and drop it under the group.

    Notes:

    • You can remove a global view from a group by dragging and dropping it outside the group.

    • Select the Group's name to change it.

    • Select Delete to delete the group.

    • Select the Up-Down arrownext to the group's name to display or hide the global views within the group.

Change global views and groups display properties

Nerdio Manager allows you to change the following display properties of global views and groups.

  • Icon: You can change the icon of a global view or a group.

  • Display Order: You can change the order the global views are displayed on the main menu or within a group.

Change a global view's or group's icon

Nerdio Manager allows you to change a global view's or group's icon.

To change a global view's or group's icon:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select the icon of the global view or group you wish to change.

  3. In the pop-up list of icons, select the new icon you wish to use.

  4. Select OK.

Change a global view's display order

Nerdio Manager allows you to change a global view's display order on the main menu.

To change a global view's display order:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Select and hold the global view's .

  3. Drag and drop the global view to the desired location.

Change the Display Order for Global Views within a Group

Nerdio Manager allows you to change the display order of global views within a group.

To change the display order of global views within a group:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Locate the group you wish to work with.

  3. Optionally, select Sort to sort the global views in ascending or descending name order.

  4. Alternatively, select and hold the global view's .

  5. Drag and drop the global view to the desired location within the group.

Manage existing global views

Nerdio Manager enables you to edit existing global view.

To edit an exiting global view:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Locate the global view you want to edit.

  3. From the action menu, select the action you want to perform:

    • Enable: Enables a currently disabled global view.

    • Disable: Disables a currently active global view

    • Edit: Allows you to edit the configuration of the global view.

New UI: Manage existing global views

Nerdio Manager enables you to edit existing global view.

To edit an exiting global view:

  1. At the MSP level, navigate to Settings > Global Views.

  2. Locate the global view you want edit.

  3. Select the action you want to perform:

    • Enable: Select the icon to enable a currently disabled global view..

    • Disable:Select the more actions icon to disable a currently active global view.

      Note: If a global view is currently disabled, the more actions icon is for editing to global view.

    • Edit: Select the to edit the configuration of the global view.
