When defining a workflow approval rule it would be helpful to specify the aprpoval rule to send an email to a specific email address rather than just a role. A common configuration is to have a dedicated account “username-admin@domain.com” for example. That user doesn't have a mailbox. That user's mailbox is their own identity “username@domain.com”. so they would never get the email alert. Nor would these superadmins be constantly monitoring the Nerdio UI for approval rules. So there is currently a gap.
Right now you can select the Approver role and whoever is in that role will get the e-mail notification.
In our case the Superadmin has got the Approver role and so the users who are Superadmin will receive the notification.
However, those users don't have a mailbox or have access to a shared mailbox in the Nerdio Manager for MSP tenant.
Would be great to add an additional option under Approvers, or a checkbox for “alternate email address” to send the aprpoval rules.
