Hey Nerdio-Team,
as your support told me, nerdio has a 30 minute window for VM deployment to kick off pre-staging early enough.
So Nerdio will typically kick off the VM deployment step 30 minutes before your Pre-Stage stage time, effectively giving you a 30 minute window to deploy.
Nerdio does do some 'learning' here calculating the average scale out time during a step called "Calculate average scale out operation duration" in the task details.
However, this value must be between 2 and 30 minutes, due to the 30 minute deployment window.
Because of this, if your VM deployments are taking longer than this, in your case around 50 minutes, you will notice that the Pre-Stage start time is missed.
To counter this, our recommendation would be to set the Pre-Stage start time a little earlier, as you have noticed.
Unfortunately, since your deployments are taking longer than 30 minutes, this is expectyed behaviour, so pushing the start time back would be the best way to address this.
Is it possible to set this kick-off-window longer in future releases as we can't shorten the deployment time of our sessionhosts? For example 60 or 90 minutes.
Thank you in advance.
