multi-user desktop pooled vs single user desktop pooled

can anyone either explain what the exact difference is between these 2 desktop deployment options or give me  a link to an article that does

Hi Todd,

 

Happy to help here.  The difference here is that users in a Multi-User desktop pool can be placed on any host in that pool and they will be sharing a single vm resource(could be one of many) with other users.  In a Single-User Desktop Pool it's going to be a 1:1 ration of user to vm isn't dedicated to the user.  This is where the value of FSLogix profile roaming comes in handy.
