AVD - Help managing Language Pack on Windows 11 enterprise multi-session

Many of us have to install additional languages on our Windows enterprise multi-session hosts. It would be nice to have either an image already built, or be able to install an additional language thru Unified Application Management (UAM) or others methods. Right now, it's a manual step that is hard to automate. Ideally, in my case, I would need to be able to manage language packs on my global image (Windows + Office 365).

This is a great question, Benjamin!

We have this KB that talks about it (Add Language Packs to Image VMs โ€“ Nerdio Help Center)
In there, there's a link to a Microsoft KB that has a script to deploy language packs to a Desktop Image with a script.
If you were to put all of the language packs in a share repo, you could easily put a Scripted Action into NMM.

Do you think that'll do what you're needing?

I'm already using that script (without a shared repo). For sure I could build something, repo+scripted action... I just think that it would be nice if Nerdio would offer something like precanned things you're already offering.

Btw, you should add the link to the similar article for Windows 11

Thanks

Ahh. Very cool!
Thanks for pointing out our KB could use some updating.
I've put in the request to get it updated.

Until we're able to get this into the product, one of our team did create a way to do this with scripted actions/inherited variables.
It might be a nice way to automate this without too much manual effort. ๐Ÿ™‚
