I have created multiple custom roles in NMM and would like the ability for assign the Built-in Global views to my custom roles without have to recreate the views for that purpose. The views Nerdio are valiable to normal checks for our Sys Admin and I would prefer to not have to recreate them.

We don't currently allow you to edit/assign/clone the built-in global views.
If you had your preference, which of these would be your preferred option?
- Assign custom roles to the built-in Global Views WITHOUT being able to edit them
- Assign custom roles to the built-in Global Views AND be able to edit them
- Clone a built-in view
- Something else entirely

Sorry for the delay in responding. At a minimum it would be good to be able to clone the view. I would like to see #1 having the abiity to assign roles without editing though. This would need to survive version upgrades.
#2 I think is adding too much access. Should Nerdio, in a future release, want to make changes to an existing Global View, any changes we would make would be lost or we would not benefit from the changes Nerdio might make.

You make a very good point that I didn't consider. If we make a change to a global view as part of a feature update, you don't want to miss-out on the new settings/changes if you end-up cloning the view. Option 1 seems like the best solution, but maybe our Product Team will be able to make something we haven't even considered. 🙏
