Ability to use variables in dynamic group queries.
Add variables to group templates.
Dynamic variables within Dynamic Groups? We might be treading into an Inception-ish world, but I can get onboard with that idea.
Out of curiosity, what are you looking to do with dynamic variables in a Dynamic Group query?
Haha. Inception-ish thats hysterical.
Use case is that we have a dynamic user group where we want only human users, not service accounts, etc). So we populate the Company attribute with the company name then the query uses account is enabled, account is member, and company is company name.
In nerdio, the group template will be All Employees with dynamic user with variable for company=being the company name variable.
another use case would be same as above but using a custom attrribute that has a specific value per client.
Haha. Thanks, Daniel. I'm here all week. 🤣
I think I understand now.
You're wanting to have a space-filler for the group so you can make it as granular as you need, but not have to maintain multiple copies of a group or manually create groups in each tenant.
Something like this where you could use the variable in the group name or as a value in the rule.
Love it!

Exactly! Is it ready yet? ahahahahahhaahh
Haha. Our product team is good, but not THAT fast 🤣
Keep an eye on the release notes and you might see that feature sooner than later 🤓
