Enabling auto-heal broken hosts options when scheduling host pool re-imaging tasks

As of right now we are currently performing re-imaging maintenance tasks every 30 days for our clients.  As we move towards enabling more automation, we are finding sometimes the hosts fail to re-image.  This requires the technician to manually delete the failed host and replace it, often very late in the evening.

I recently learned under that under the auto-scaling options there is a section to enable “auto-heal for broken hosts”. If this feature could be added to when we are scheduling a host pool re-imaging task this would be very helpful.

I like this idea. It's possible that it could be tied into this idea (Maintenance Mode / Exclude hosts from 'Auto-scale' – Nerdio Help Center) . . . 🤔

The AutoHeal is one of those things that's great, but if it's outside for the AutoScale window, if could be frustrating because AutoHeal won't be triggered.

To your point, if we add a checkbox to the Reimage Task to “Enforce AutoHeal”, that could be a nice addition.

Can you think of any other scenarios in your use-cases where you'd want to force AutoHeal to work outside of the AutoScale process or if we add it as part of a reimage task, will that be sufficient?

I would imagine if we had the ability to enforce auto heal when performing host pool re-imaging or when scheduling the task that would be great.  For our current customers we utilize RI's so at this time we do not utilize auto-scaling thus the feature request when re-imaging host pools.  Other than that, I cannot think of any other use cases for this at this time.
