I noticed that NMM is still using the old MSIX app attach, which Microsoft plans to deprecate in June 2025. Since NME already supports App Attach V2, I wanted to ask about the timeline for implementing App Attach V2 in NMM.
Also, it would make sense to add the capability to configure the permissions for App Attach during the storage account creation. The screenshot is from NME:

MSIX App Attach is being depreciated June 1, 2025.
Porting over the AppAttach (v2) features (Apps and Storage Account configuration) from NME makes a lot of sense since we're needing to move on that anyway.
Out of curiosity, how much is your team utilizing App Attach for your customers right now?
Example:
5%/25%/75% of them use it and 50%/75%/100% will be using it in the next 6-12 months
Hi Dave, so far none of our NMM customers are using App Attach and I guess it will be around 5% since most apps will be delivered with UAM
I just did a POC with NME this week and the customer wanted to use App Attach. Thats where i noticed the difference in NMM.
So there is no current need for us but I guess it makes sense to have App Attach v2 also in NMM 😉
We want to make full use of the combination of Liquidware FlexApp and App Attach, leaving options open for MSIX/App-V where conflicts may play a role.

Similar to the question I had for Phillipp, are you/your customers currently using Liquidware or is it something you're looking to standardize on in the future?
Hello Dave, we already use Liquidware FlexApp as a standard within our workspace. For both AVD and laptops/desktops.
