Cost Estimator - Azure Database Services

When you have a moment, can you give us a little more information on the use-case for this?

The majority of MSP customers still want/need traditional Windows SQL Servers for compatibility reasons with their software.
Are you finding yourself needing to quote Azure SQL Databases for the majority of your quotes?

Hi David, 

We are inheriting clients that either already have database as a service or are wanting to move across to this as the licensing costs for a SQL Server Enterprise + Windows Server license can get cost-prohibitive even with AHB. Having this in the calculator allows for us to be able to comparatively quote if this is a viable option, especially when they want zone or datacentre availability.

That makes sense. I know we've had an uptick in the number of enhancement requests for the Cost Estimator recently.
We may be able to add a bunch of those improvements at the same time. Our product team will need to review them and see what they can do. 🙂
