Last Friday, we encountered an issue where all of our Intune policies were accidentally removed from our customer accounts. This happened because we cloned the default Intune Solution baseline to use as a development baseline for testing some settings. Unfortunately, someone mistakenly assigned our production ‘policy baseline’ to this DEV solution baseline. As a result, all existing customer assignments for the ‘policy baseline’ were overwritten with the assignments of the DEV ‘solution baseline’.
To prevent such incidents in the future, could you implement a warning when changing assignments at the ‘Solution baseline’ level? This would help avoid accidental changes to Intune policy assignments.
