update phone numbers for AD

in the Users > Properties, I see the options to update the mobile number, and the fax number, but there is no option to update the primary phone number. This is useful as applications like exclaimer want to access the phone number and we want to limit who has access to the DC.

Great call-out James!

Phone Number is a pretty common field and being able to utilize it with 3rd party solutions (i.e. Exclaimer) makes a lot of sense.
Are there any other attributes that you think your team would need?

not that I can see at the moment, but this just seemed like an obvious oversight. I can update the fax number but not the phone number and extension?

Thanks, James.

Looking at what's available in the native ADUC, I think it might make sense to have all of the options under the General and Organization tabs (excluding "Web page")
Thoughts?

that does make sense, and I agree. All these fields would be excellent to have as editable fields in Nerdio.

Any update on this or are we waiting for the new UI to come to the accounts?

I know it's on our product team's radar and planned for a near-term, upcoming iteration. However, right now we don't have any more specifics than that.

this is not good to hear. the phone number and manager settings are what prevents my team and I from being able to manage these users in Nerdio. New user setups are being done in ADUC as it makes more sense to perform these actions in one place and not two. Managers change, Phone numbers change.

I WANT to use the Nerdio platform to manage this as it is easier for most things, but I keep being driven back to ADUC for what was clearly an oversight in the developers when setting up user management. This is less a feature request and more a bug report for the missing fields.

What do we need to do to get this on the team's radar to get this oversight fixed.

Thanks, James, I know it's frustrating.

Our team is working on implementing as many of these ideas as possible.
I'm going to see if our Product Team can reach-out directly to talk to you about this, and other, pain points you're facing in using the Nerdio platform for more day-to-day tasks.
