Possibility to import custom Authentication strengths

I’m writing to request the addition of support for custom authentication strengths in Nerdio Manager for conditional access. Currently, we can only use the built-in authentication strengths, which limits our flexibility for certain business needs.

Our organization needs custom authentication strengths to meet specific security policies and compliance requirements. Being able to define and implement these custom strengths would allow us to tailor our security measures more precisely. We currently use custom authentication strengths for all 47 of our customers in Nerdio Manager.

Adding support for custom authentication strengths would provide significant value to our organization and likely to others with similar needs.

I like the idea of flexibility, especially when it comes to security.
Can you elaborate on your use-case a bit more?
Are you talking about the Grant and/or Device platform settings in Conditional Access or something else?

I was able to choose most of the options in Grant and import it into NMM without any issues.

I am talking about the Grant settings. The only things that are not possible to import are custom "Authentication strengths" that you can use with "Require authentication strength". Currently only built-in authentication strengths can be imported within Nerdio Manager. We use custom ones so it would be great if those also can be used in Nerdio.

There may be some limitation on the API surrounding that, but I can see how that'd be useful.

Out of curiosity, how many different custom authentication strengths are you utilizing with your customers?

Allright, i hope that it can implemented into Nerdio Manager.

We currently only use one custom Authentication strenght for our customers. But we use this custom Authentication strenght for every costumer in our Nerdio environment. So it would be great if we can deploy those trough Nerdio 😊

We use 2 custom authentication strengths and we heavily rely on these 2. This is important piece of the puzzle that is missing.

This would be really useful as it doesn't appear there's any way to do this currently and we're also planning to roll this out as a core part of our CA policies.

Indeed very useful, because now we have to edit the json file in Nerdio everytime a new version of a specific CA policy is imported/updated from our baseline tenant.
