Nerdio cost esimator - extras

It would be could if the following cloud be added to the Nerdio cost estimator:

  • option to price ASR, with replication, storage costs, operating costs, choice of paired region based on the region, etc..
  • option to add extra bandwidth. Needed when not pricing with AVD, as the bandwidth boxes gets disabled.
  • option to add vnet peering costs.
  • include AHB as a monthly figure in the Nerdio costs, as CSP partners can bill this monthly.

Great suggestions, Andrew!

I believe the Cost Estimator was originally designed to make quoting AVD environments easier, but I can see how adding these items would make it more flexible for those environments where AVD may not be the correct answer.

Out of curiosity, how often is your team needing to add those custom additions to a cost estimate?

Hi Dave, the second two points are added to every quote. Second one every week, first one is every so often based on customer requirements.

It helps our product team out a lot to have that kind of information.

I want to say I've heard whisperings of them making some adjustments to the Cost Estimator, but I haven't heard any specifics, yet.
Hopefully if/when they make the changes, they can implement these as well.
