Add Notifications Exclusions

If you are like me you have created a notification condition that alerts you to all Nerdio errors.

There are very specific errors I would not like to get alerts on. (for example ScaleInAzureFilesShare)

However, being that there are several hundreds of tasks, you literally can't select all but the one or two you don't want.
The task list fills up the screen and will not let you add any more.

I would like to keep the task list to (Any) but have an exclusion section that allows me to add those I do not want to be notified on.

Great idea, Jason Bridgeman!

It looks similar to this one by Jim-Barry Behar Notification Exceptions – Nerdio Help Center
On that post, I offered a rough suggestion of how the feature could work. Do you think that will work for what you're wanting as well?
Obviously, you would have additional fields for task exceptions, but I think you get the general idea. 🙂

Excellent!
I'm going to add a comment on the other post so our Product team can link the two ideas together and knock out "2 birds with 1 stone" 🙂

I think a ‘invert match’ would a great solution to this.
Invert based on a ‘group/target/account/task’ OR invert all except for ‘the ’annoying' errors'

For example, As an MSP we dont want to see the following errors when customers are trying to log people off:
“Error: User session [<username>] on host: [<hostname>] not found ”

Thanks, George.
That seems to be in-line with what I was thinking as well.
Explicit exceptions seems like as scalable way to do this as possible without too much complexity 🙂
