I would love to see an option to deploy scripted actions to intune endpoints. In intune you have the option to deploy powershell scripts to custom groups. This is something we still need to do from the intune portal.
In nerdio there is an option to do this on a device but not on a group.
That's a great idea to be able to assign scripted actions to an Entra ID Group.
We do have the ability to run a script against a selected group of devices, but not the group itself.
For your use case, do you see it more as a one-time script or more similar to Intune Remediation Scripts (or Nerdio Shell Apps in v5.3) where it checks repeatedly?
Hi Dave, It would be nice if both were possible. But we most use the one-time scripts because the remediation scripts are not within our Intune license. But if it could be used trough Nerdio that would be a really nice feature.
I know our Nerdio Shell Apps basically do the same thing as remediation scripts, but don't currently support Intune devices.
Depending the level of difficulty, it's possible that Shell Apps could be used for physical devices/groups too.
It'll be interesting to see what's possible. 🙂
