Backup Restore Confirmation Screen is needed

We believe it would be helpful to have something more overt or in bold in the interface page here when selecting to restore a server.

There should be some kind of message stating that selecting a restore point and hitting ok is an immediate destructive process if you have something running in production. I recommend a field having to type “confirm” or similar as other vendors do for this kind of backend work before the restore job is submitted.

One of our technicians inadvertently restored a server over a current production system at a client believing that choosing a recovery point would allow him to then select individual files from within that server backup to restore back, which is what he actually needed to do. It was not that clear that he was restoring the entire server. I believe that an additional pause/check/warning (perhaps in RED) for something as major as this is warranted. As a result. the client ended up losing several hours worth of work they had saved to the production server.

That said, I sympathize that understanding what this restore function really does and viewing the Nerdio documentation could have perhaps prevented this but a more overt warning would have definitely stopped someone in their tracks.

Hope this helps
