Feature Reversal - Default VM size back to "All" and let users filter as needed

When I want to select a VM size it greys out certain size vm's specifically E series which is the most common series when re-imaging a host in a host pool. Previously I could just type the VM size I want and the list would filter as I type. Now the items are greyed out because there is a filter being applied by default. This requires that I remove what I typed then scroll to the top of the list and select "all".

Can we put it back to the non-filtered list by default and allow users who want to filter to filter as needed?

From the release notes for 4.5.0 it says this was only part of the cost estimator tool but clearly this has also been added to the VM Size when creating a host. I wonder if it uses the same list under the hood for both the estimator and the VM creation.

That's exactly what happened to me. I couldn't select my regular E8's and didn't realize there was a filter at the top because you can't see the filter until you clear whatever you typed. I usually just type what I want directly because it finds it much faster but this clearly breaks our workflow.

The more you get familiar with VM sizes the less you would ever want to use the filter and instead just type in what you want. Makes sense for new people creating quotes but not for experienced people who are creating a host.

Thanks for the feedback. Based on your experience we're making ALL the default starting next release.
