User counts for groups - more accurate pool user counting

As we are often using groups to assign users to AVD pools and such, it would be helpful to have a count of the total number of users assigned to a group, without needing to log in elsewhere to count the user total.
I just counted 36 users manually in an AAD group in NMM.

As is it can be impossible sometimes to tell how many users are assigned to a given AVD pool. If the assignment is by group, you will have a count of groups assigned. Drilling down into the groups will provide a list of all the users, but not a count of the seats in use.

We're fighting this internally too.
We can get a raw count of the total users assigned at the account level from the main accounts screen.

Then, we can get the users assigned to the host pools by running the Users or Login Activity report.
The Users report gives us every user who is assigned to a host pool (either individually or directly).
The Login Activity report gives us any user who is assigned and the last time they logged-in to a host pool (useful for QBRs)

Maybe add a Total Users count to the host pools screen?

Along the same lines, looking for a report that has the Current AVD Users by client. Currently I'm having to copy the main screen with all the Current AVD User counts and then clean it up in Excel.

Thanks for reviving this idea, Felix Barba!

Right now, we don't have a great way to get this information.
You could pull a lot of it with the API, but you have to pull/provide quite a bit of details (Subscription ID, Resource Group, PoolName, (NMM)AccountID)

On the flip side, needing to log-in to every account to get the info can be a bit tedious.
When you view the report, you're able to filter it to those that have desktops assigned.
However, if you schedule it or email it, you don't have that filter automatically.

Maybe if we add the option on the schedule to filter the Users report, you could have it email to a shared mailbox or a Data Warehouse and have all of the information in a centralized spot? 🤔

What would be most useful for your use case?

I would love to see a total AVD user count on the main accounts page across all clients in Nerdio manager for MSP

I would like to also request that there be a summarised count of all users (Total Members) within a Group from the Groups section - rather than having to manually count this or logging into Entra portal to grab this value:
