Global Views: Allow Additional Filtering

For the global views, it would be nice to be able to do additional filtering/sorting on the global views. Some examples of additional ideas are below.

All:

  • Allow alpha-numeric column sort

User Sessions:

  • Show time connected and time disconnected

Session Hosts:

  • Filter by Hosts in Drain Mode
  • Filter by Hosts with Error
  • Filter/Seach by host SKU
  • Add the ability to run scripted actions/commands on multiple hosts

Host Pools:

  • Add the ability to run scripted actions/commands on multiple host pools

Intune:

  • Allow searching by account (once the view is created)
  • Allow drill-down to device/policies/configurations applied

Servers (New):

  • Add views to see online/offline status of non-AVD Servers
  • Add the ability to run scripted actions/commands on individual or multiple servers

HI DStephenson. As we're further expanding and improving our Global Views, these suggestions are very welcome. The filters and sorting is something we plan to introduce soon.

Currently, as they're views, we don't allow actions from the MSP level. Part of the reason is that we're using real-time data gathered from API, which is quite costly in terms of performance. But it's something which we'll investigate and consider over time, so your feedback is very valuable. Thanks!

Hi all, I support the post of Dave as it would be great to also filter via devicetype, manufacturer or Operating System. The idea behind this to build different views for e.g. Mobile Phones and Laptops/Workstations (both managed via Intune).

This is just one specific usecase and Dave mentioned a lot more. So I am really looking forward in seeing what you will introduce with regards to extended filtering.

Thanks!
