Hi All,
Has anyone installed UltraTax CS from Thomson Reuters on AVD? My understanding is that TR supports it on RDS but does not claim to support it on AVD. I'm interested to hear your experience as I have a client that wants to move from TR's hosting service to AVD.

We have a client on AVD using UltraTax and it runs fine. We do have a DC/file server VM though so I can't comment on how it would run if you are planning to use Azure Files storage for the data files.
Hey Steve, thanks for chiming in. It's my understanding that we have used AADDS instead of a DC VM on some of our AVD deployments, so it's good to know that you have it working with the DC VM. Cheers, Zach
Since AVD is a server and client setup but is also virtual what installation process did you go through? I see a TS install process but wondering if I should bother with that or just install normal on the server and then the desktop client on the session host.

I installed UltraTax on AVD following their Terminal Server install guide. Full install on server, full install (not desktop client) on session host. You can then configure it to point to where the data files are.
