Dropbox with FS Logix

Has anyone ever used Dropbox with FS Logix? 

Im struggling to get it working on our system. It seems to be that if the files are synced locally there isn't any issues but running it in Online Mode means applications just refuse to open the files. Online Mode is crucial because otherwise they will taking up to much space.

We haven't found a good solution other than to expand the profile size (through the NMM portal) to 50GB or 100GB and then allowing Dropbox to sync locally.

It does cost a little more on the storage side but seems resolve the issue and allow users to work.
