Create Blob Storage for FSLogix Profiles

This article discusses how to create blob storage for FSLogix profiles.

To create blob storage for FSLogix profiles:

  1. In Azure portal, search for Storage.

  2. Select Storage accounts.

  3. Select + Create to create a new storage account.

  4. In the Basics tab, enter the following information:

    • Storage account name: Type the new storage account name.

    • Region: From the drop-down list, select the region.

    • Performance: Depending on your needs, select one of the following disk options:

      • Standard: Cost-efficient, might be sufficient only in very small environments or for testing scenarios.

      • Premium: Provide higher performance and are suitable for scenarios that require low latency.

    • Redundancy: From the drop-down list, select Locally-redundant storage (LRS).

  5. Navigate to the Advanced tab.

    Note: Nerdio Manager functionality supports the default settings shown in the Advanced tab, but partners should modify the settings based on their own needs. Contact Microsoft for any support or deployment questions.

  6. Navigate to the Networking tab.

  7. Navigate to the Data protection tab.

    Note: Nerdio Manager functionality supports the default settings shown in the Data protection tab, but partners should modify the settings based on their own needs. Microsoft should be contacted with any support or deployment questions.

  8. Navigate to the Encryption tab.

    Note: Nerdio Manager functionality supports the default settings shown in the Encryption tab, but partners should modify the settings based on their own needs. Microsoft should be contacted with any support or deployment questions.

  9. Navigate to the Tags tab.

  10. Navigate to the Review tab.

  11. Review your selections and then select Create.
